Just watch this. It’s weird.
This week the podcast crew discusses all of the great news, reminisces about the Wii, and tests their knowledge of top ten lists by trying to guess which games/items topped all eight categories from our send-off to the Wii!
Update: Man I just feel so exhausted tonight! Because of that, I won’t be wrapping up part 3 of the Wii feature thing until tomorrow night. Which is probably for the better because then I can include Patrick! For now, just enjoy this podcast. :]
Turns out that when you do a podcast after writing and coding for seven hours some parts don’t stay quite as on-topic as they should! We still got through the news, but the discussion and list were a little lackluster this week! Next week we should be back to normal.

This month’s Nintendo Power review scores are as follows:
Paper Mario: Sticker Star (3DS) – 8.0
Freakyforms Deluxe: Your Creations, Alive! (3DS) – 6.0
Thundercats (DS) – 4.0
Skylanders Giants (Wii) – 8.0
Skylanders Giants (3DS) – 7.0
Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask (3DS) – 8.0
Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward (3DS) – 8.5
Harvest Moon: A New Beginning (3DS) – 7.0
WWE ’13 (Wii) – 6.5
The Wii lets you save downloaded content from the Shop Channel to an SD card. All 3DS-specific content from the eShop must be downloaded from an SD card as well. Wii U is mixing up the pattern slightly.
As it turns out, you won’t be able to save any Wii U eShop titles to an SD card. Your only options are saving to the console’s internal memory or the device plugged into the USB slot.
Now, it may be possible to indirectly save to an SD card through a USB card reader, but this isn’t clear yet.
Also worth mentioning: according to Nintendo’s Japanese Wii U site, downloaded software saved to the USB slot can’t be played on a different Wii U. The site says “software can only be used on 1 Wii U per 1 USB media.”
We’re hoping that with the new Wii U accounts, you’ll somehow be able to download eShop content onto a separate console. But since there’s so much uncertainty and vagueness surrounding accounts, we probably won’t know if something like this is in place until next week.
