Nintendo of America’s rewards program has announced a major overhaul of its website and the introduction of downloadable games for loyal Nintendo fans. Now, Club Nintendo™ members who earn enough Coins can redeem them for select downloadable Wii™ and Nintendo 3DS™ games. The revamped site offers members a streamlined online experience and more exciting ways to redeem Coins.
Starting today, Club Nintendo members can exchange 100 Coins for Super Mario Kart™ and 150 Coins for Fluidity on the Wii console. Normally these games are offered at 800 Wii Points™ and 1,200 Wii Points respectively, making this new offer a great value for members. Nintendo isn’t finished with MotionPlus controls for Zelda titles just yet. Eiji Aonuma told the Official Nintendo Magazine that there were some ideas they had that weren’t used in Skyward Sword.
These elements will appear in future Zelda games. Perhaps we’ll see some of these ideas in Zelda Wii U if Nintendo decides to use MotionPlus rather than the tablet controller (or maybe the two could be used together).
Aonuma told the magazine:
“We will want to use the Wii Motion-Plus controls that we did not use this time in future games, so we cannot tell you now. Please look forward to seeing them in the future.”

Head on over to Club Nintendo right to see the site’s brand new look and rewards. You can now exchange points for downloadable games, along with notebooks and a Zelda poster set.
The WiiWare/eShop titles will expire on January 10. A new round of downloads will be offered on the site once this date has passed.

The latest issue of V-Jump has revealed new Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance details and screenshots. According to the magazine, the Three Musketeers world will be featured in the game. Additionally, Joshua and Beat from The World Ends with You will be making an appearance.
New scans from V-Jump can be found above.
It’s unclear if a new Pokemon game announcement will be made at Jump this weekend, but there will definitely be a reveal inside the pages of next month’s CoroCoro. The latest issue of the magazine stated that they’ll have the first information on this “world first shocking announcement.”
Although the next CoroCoro will be out on January 14, 2012, news may leak out before that date.
Nintendo is sending out SpotPass notifications to 3DS Ambassadors that the ten free Game Boy Advance games will hit the eShop this Friday. They’ve also announced the full lineup of games that will be included in this part of the program.
The complete list is as follows:
F-Zero: Maximum Velocity
Super Mario Advance 3: Yoshi’s Island
Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap
Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones
Kirby & The Amazing Mirror
Mario Kart: Super Circuit
Mario vs. Donkey Kong
Metroid Fusion
Wario Land 4
WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgames
The SpotPass notifications have been spotted in both Europe and Japan, so I assume that the GBA titles will also be available on Friday for North American Ambassadors as well.
Limited Edition copies of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword include a gold Wiimote Plus. They do not, however, come with a matching gold nunchuck.
If you want the complete experience, you’ll need to be a member of Club Nintendo Japan. That’s right: Nintendo is now offering a gold nunchuck for 600 points. You can pick up the reward for 200 points less if you’ve registered a copy of Zelda: Skyward Sword (offer ends February 20).
In other Club Nintendo news, a 3DS case has been added to the site. It can be yours for 150 points. The case holds up to eighteen games.
