1.5 million 3DS units will be sent to Japan by the end of March. And, already, the initial shipment has been swallowed up by consumers. Nikkei is reporting that the 400,000 units made available on launch day are now in the hands of gamers across the country. An additional shipment should be heading to Japan very shortly.
