Defend your castle and honor in Abylight’s new Tower Defense game

Barcelona, Spain – November 15th, 2010

Abylight an independent premier video game publisher and developer, today announced the upcoming release of Dairojo! Samurai Defenders – a new tower defense game developed exclusively by Japanese developer Kawamoto Industrial. Developed exclusively for the Nintendo DSiWare™ service. Dairojo! Samurai Defenders will launch exclusively on Nintendo DSiWare in North America this winter.

“We are excited to announce that Dairojo! Samurai Defenders will be available soon on Nintendo DSiWare in North America”, said Nacho Garcia, General Manager at Abylight, “With its epic setting, multiple game play modes, quick learning curve and increasing difficulty it will offer strategy fans a fantastic portable experience”.

This information comes from Reggie Fils-Aime…

“As a consumer, I have experience with every Nintendo platform and, I think every accessory, including the Superscope, with the exception of the Virtual Boy… so it’s difficult for me to articulate a point of view back to our parent company [in Japan] why we absolutely have to have a Virtual Boy store.”

I think it would be interesting to have Virtual Boy titles on the 3DS, but it wouldn’t bother me too much if it never happened. I’d much rather see Game Boy Advance titles pop up on the handheld!
