FINAL FANTASY CRYSTAL CHRONICLES: THE CRYSTAL BEARERS OUT TOMORROW ON NINTENDO Wii
Thursday 4th February/…Square Enix Ltd., the publisher of Square Enix® interactive entertainment products in Europe and other PAL territories, today announces that FINAL FANTASY® CRYSTAL CHRONICLES®: The Crystal Bearers™ will be available exclusively on the Nintendo Wii™ from tomorrow, 5th February 2010.

FINAL FANTASY CRYSTAL CHRONICLES: The Crystal Bearers opens up a whole new style of game design never experienced in previous FINAL FANTASY CRYSTAL CHRONICLES games. Set in a huge and beautifully created open-world universe, players will be treated to a magnificent story of adventure, exploration and puzzle solving.

A thousand years have passed since the events of the original FINAL FANTASY CRYSTAL CHRONICLES. The destruction of the Yuke Crystal during the Great War had at once brought the victorious Lilty Tribe prosperity, the defeated Yuke Tribe apparent annihilation, and the world a new age of science and reason. In this new era exists a rare breed of powerful beings called “crystal bearers”, whose seemingly magical abilities have led them to be feared and scorned by the public.

“Our de Blob franchise will be back again in fiscal 2011. We successfully launched this highly-rated franchise in fiscal 2009 to broad, critical acclaim.” – THQ president and CEO Brian Farrell

This news isn’t too surprising, as THQ said last year that they were happy with the sales performance of de Blob. It hasn’t been confirmed if the sequel will be another Wii-exclusive, but let’s hope so!

Session Description
Yoshio Sakamoto has been here from the start. In 1982 he joined Nintendo a year before the arrival of the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in Japan. He’s worked as a developer for the entire history of the modern video game era, and is perhaps most noted for the Metroid franchise. However, his development credits span a wide range of projects, with titles as diverse as WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$ and Rhythm Heaven. At times he and his teams juggled these projects simultaneously.

Groundbreaking video game for Nintendo DS winning fans of all ages

3rd February 2010: Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today announced that after winning more than 50 awards, Scribblenauts for Nintendo DS™ has reached blockbuster status and sold in more than one million units worldwide. Launched in September 2009, the groundbreaking game, appealing to all skill levels of players, quickly became one of the hottest games of the holiday season.

Created and developed by 5TH Cell, Scribblenauts is an innovative game which allows players to write anything and solve everything. Players can combine countless objects to create wildly original scenarios.

“If you’re wondering if Tournament of Legends will support Wii Motion Plus, the answer is no. Because the motion controls are evenly split between the Nunchuk and Wii Remote Corso said it felt imbalanced to have the added effects of Motion Plus on one side but not the other. The motion controls were surprisingly responsive in my time with the game. Gestures are limited to simple horizontal and vertical swipes and the sensitivity felt right. In just a few minutes I felt like I was able to pull off vertical and horizontal attacks without worrying about the intensity or exaggeration of my motions. If motion controls aren’t your thing, High Voltage is supporting the Classic controller, and you can also map all the motion controls to buttons and the d-pad. While the game will support local multiplayer there won’t be any online multiplayer.”

Like The Conduit, High Voltage has decided to drop Wii MotionPlus support from Tournament of Legends. Based on the IGN preview, it sounds like the controls are somewhat accurate, albeit limiting. Hopefully The Grinder will keep its MotionPlus functionality!
