According to ArchAngelUK, SEGA will be sharing an update about Sonic Colors tomorrow. However, there’s also some important news that will be revealed on Thursday. It’s apparently so significant that the SEGA Europe community manager went as far as to say on the latest Radio Redux podcast that it’s “franchise-changing news.” We know that SEGA is also working on a Sonic title for the 3DS, so I wonder if it’s at all related to that title. Thursday is just a few days away, so it won’t be long until we find out what the hype is all about.
There’s been a lot of buzz surrounding Capcom’s Yoshinori Ono over the past few days. He made a proposal to Keiji Inafune, and hyped up a new project by saying that Super Street Fighter IV “is nothing compared to what’s coming.” Now Ono has indicated on his Twitter account that his new title will be announced at Comic-Con.
“You’re in for a treat. I can’t say announcement at EVO. Maybe, I’ll be able to speak new thing at Comic-Con !! Don’t miss it on next Saturday !! I finally hope to reveal a bit about what I’ve been relentlessly working on lately..”
Ono also said that he has prepared a trailer for Comic-Con, but he didn’t specify if it’s for the new game announcement.

Just in case you missed it, part 1 covered the first eight years of E3 from 1995 to 2002. If you haven’t read it yet and want to feel older than you really are, take a look at it. For everyone else, let’s jump straight into 2003.
