THE MYSIMSTM RETURN TO SAVE THE SKIES FROM MORCUBUS WITH THE NEW FLYING ACTION-ADVENTURE MYSIMS SKYHEROESTM
REDWOOD CITY, Calif — May 5, 2010 — The thrill and high-speed action of flying meets the creative, immersive world of MySims™. The EA Play Label of Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: ERTS) today announced MySims SkyHeroes™, a new flying action-adventure and the next installment from the MySims franchise is in development for Wii™, Nintendo DS™, and for the first time, the Xbox 360® videogame and entertainment system and PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system.“MySims games have truly become favorites among kids, families and gamers alike, so we have challenged ourselves to take development to the next level and deliver a new style of adventure for fans with game features and MySims-style fun that can be enjoyed equally by all,” said Scott Evans, General Manager of the The Sims Studio. “We are thrilled to have many firsts with MySims SkyHeroes, like introducing epic boss battles, cooperative gameplay missions and online multiplayer, all available for the very first time in any MySims game.”
Today Team6 revealed that they are developing a squash sportsgame, in cooperation with Daan van der Dussen, former international junior player and the National Coach at Norwegian Squash Federation. The game will be available for PC-download, as well as for Wii™.
Squash is a realistic sports game with hundreds of unique motion-captured moves, promising a very close to real-life squash experience. The game targets both the general gamer audience, as well as the real squash fanatics, with insane fast, intuitive but accessible controls. At this time, little is known yet about which top players, locations or licenses are involved but the game will contain several tournaments, a quick play mode and also multiplayer.

Well here’s a pretty interesting piece of news for everyone who thinks the Wii’s sales are losing momentum:
