“Production of the last story is advancing smoothly. But, I want you to understand how difficult it is to finish the last fixes and it is time consuming in RPG creation. There is an unknown territory for me because of the real time system exists in it. But I believe that the hurdle will invent something new. Of course, it’s possible to finish it really quick, but the effort we put in in 2years would be wasted. The final seasoning is very important. So I made up my mind carefully and I’m working with scrupulous attention. Anyway the sense of security is necessary to the foundation so that you can enjoy yourself without any logic.” – Hironobu Sakaguchi
As you can see, Sakaguchi has hinted that the battle system will be in real-time. That is, unless he’s talking about a different type of system. Perhaps we’ll get some information about the game soon once the development blog starts.
This is some pretty sad news. On March 1st, CING filed for bankruptcy having suffered liabilities totaling 256 million yen. The company developed titles for Nintendo platforms since 2005 and created games such as Hotel Dusk, Another Code, and most recently, Little King’s Story. Last Window, CING’s latest project, was released in Japan in January, but failed to light up the sales charts. Unfortunately for CING, poor sales was a common occurrence for most of their products.

While it looks as though Famitsu’s mystery reveal has been solved, a different Japanese magazine has an announcement of their own on the horizon. The next issue of Jump will feature the first details of a new title in an established game series. Jump stated in its teaser that “you definitely won’t want to miss this”. Although it’s possible that the magazine will reveal a new Tales or Square Enix project, no one really knows for sure at this point. If it’s Nintendo-related, we’ll have some news about the game in a week’s time.

This is pretty neat and something that most Nintendo fans probably aren’t aware of. There’s a small music nugget that comes from the results screen in Mario Kart 64. After about fifty minutes, a different type of loop will play for a minute and a half or so. After that, the music will return to normal. Take a look at the video below to see for yourself!
Why Nintendo would change up the music after fifty minutes is beyond me. But this a nice little secret that Nintendo fans may appreciate!
