Marvelous Entertainment has provided the Wii with some truly high-quality experiences. No More Heroes, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, and Rune Factory Frontier are just a few of the titles that have been praised by the media. However, that has not translated to success in the market. Marvelous updated their blog with a new post. Discussing Wii sales, the staff writer said, “I truly have teary eyes. I feel like crying.” And the situation isn’t looking any brighter for the company’s next game. Little King’s Story, Marvelous’ latest title to be released for the Wii in Japan, is said to have very low pre-order numbers.

A few new details regarding the new peripheral for Heart Gold/Soul Silver, the “PokeWalker”.
– You take a Pokemon out of your game and transfer it into your PokeWalker.
– You choose a course for your Pokemon to walk.
– Some courses are unlocked later on in the game.
– You earn watts with every real-life step you take.
– You can exchange those watts for experience, items, and the ability to catch new wild Pokemon.

Factor 5, which closed down their San Rafael studio just a few weeks ago, is now being sued by its former employees. The employees claim that Factor 5 deceitfully transferring assets to a seperate company in order to avoid handing out payment.
James Smith, a San Francisco lawyer representing the employees, issued a statement.
“We allege in the suit that Factor 5 and its three founders fraudulently transferred assets, including source code and other intellectual property to Blue Harvest, which is now known as White Harvest. We believe and have alleged in the complaint that Factor 5 and White Harvest are essentially the same company, being run by the same people, being represented by the same sets of lawyers, with all the same management and ownership and control, performing all the same work that they were doing at Factor 5, just now with a new name and a new address.”
The worst part of this all? Apparently a new Star Wars Rogue Squadron was in development for Wii and all progress was transferred to White Harvest. Unfortunately, the fate of the title does not seem to be too promising at the moment.
