Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising has been announced as the next Nintendo Switch Online Game Trial in Europe.

This comes at a perfect time as Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is due out this month. During the trial period, members can access Rising entirely for free. Save data can be used in the full version as well. Also note that the game is currently on sale for everyone.

The Verge is reporting that Discord servers for Suyu and Sudachi, a pair of Switch emulators, have been taken offline. Additionally, their lead developers’ accounts are now entirely disabled.

Umbraclaw demo released

There’s still some time left until the launch of Umbraclaw, but Switch owners can get their hands on a new demo starting today.

A good amount of content is included in the demo. Players can access the tutorial, free-roaming hub stage, and two complete stages (Anabraw Forest and Crag Plains) with boss battles. Inti Creates is letting fans can a glimpse at the character growth system for Kuon as you explore for crystals that will allow you to upgrade her abilities and survivability in the harsh environment of the Soulplane.

In the run-up to the release of Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, Atlus have once again started up their Daily Demon videos, giving us a look at the new demons that will be added to the enhanced re-release. This time, the focus is on Glasya Labolas.

Three new games just dropped on Nintendo Switch Online – specifically Wrecking Crew ’98, Amazing Hebereke, and Super R-Type.

As Super Famicom games, Wrecking Crew ’98 and Amazing Hebereke previously came to Japan. Super R-Type represents the SNES.

Here’s an overview of all three games:

March 21: To accompany Princess Peach: Showtime‘s release, new icons for the game are being added to Nintendo Switch Online.

4 waves of icons will be releasing for the game. Subscribers can spend My Nintendo Platinum Points on several different designs. A bunch of character icons can be picked up for 10 Platinum Points each, while backgrounds and frames go for 5 Platinum Points apiece.

GSD data provides a look at the best-selling games across Europe in March 2024. It’s based on data for all physical game releases in major markets plus digital game sales from most major publishers.

EA Sports FC 24 was the top seller of the month. Princess Peach: Showtime did not crack the top ten, landing at #23. This is partially due to EA flooding Steam with Command & Conquer games, which took up a number of different spots.

Wrath: Aeon of Ruin finally received a release date for consoles today, including Switch. The game is due out on April 25, 2024.

Wrath: Aeon of Ruin has been a long time coming as it was first announced in 2019. We last heard that the Switch version would be ready in early 2023, but that didn’t happen. The title only made its initial debut on PC this past February.

Previously made available in digital form, Coromon is now getting a physical release. Limited Run Games is handling production.

Only a standard version is planned currently. There do not appear to be any special editions releasing at this time.
