Because of several leaks, it’s been a poorly kept secret that Blizzard has been working on Overwatch for Switch. The news was finally made official today during the latest Nintendo Direct.

Overwatch will launch for Switch on October 15.

Today’s Nintendo Direct will be starting in an hour from now. Nintendo will be kicking off the broadcast at 3 PM PT / 6 PM ET / 11 PM in the UK / 12 AM in Europe.

As previously mentioned, the Nintendo Direct will focus in 2019 games. Expect to hear more about Pokemon Sword/Shield, Luigi’s Mansion 3, and many more games.

Sensor Tower has a new report on Pokemon GO’s strong performance in August. According to the site, the arrival of Team Rocket and more led to total revenue of $110 million. That’s the best month for Pokemon GO in three years.

We recently reported on a new accessory for Switch Lite that features both a flip cover and screen protector. The news had been primarily aimed at system owners in Japan, but fortunately, it will be available in other regions as well. Nintendo UK lists a January 2020 release for the Switch Lite flip cover & screen protector on its website.

We finally have an update on the turn-based puzzle RPG The Legend of Bum-bo. The game has received a new trailer, which is included below.

The Legend of Bum-bo is initially launching in November. It’s been previously mentioned that the game is on track for Switch, so a 2020 launch is likely on that platform.

SteelSeries has announced the newest member of the Arctis family, the Arctis 1 Wireless. The company says it “features the new slimmed down body of the Arctis 1, but connects via a small USB-C dongle for a true lossless and low latency connection” and can be used with Switch.

Haunted Tie is bringing the party brawler Domiverse to Switch next month, according to eShop listings in Europe, Australia, and Japan. It will be available on October 17.

Publisher Unties and developer Souvenir Circ. have announced a new update for Azure Reflections, the side-scrolling bullet hell game. On September 20, players can experience an additional mode including two new bosses.

Boss Rush, the new mode, “pits the defenders of the mystical realm of Gensokyo against its most powerful threats in rapid succession to compete for the best time.” Players can take on all bosses from the campaign in addition to two new challenging fights against the main playable characters, Reimu and Marisa.
