A couple of years ago, Brainseed Factory made the puzzle platformer Typoman for Wii U. That same game is now destined for Switch. Brainseed Factory is teaming up with Wales Interactive to make the port happen, the two companies announced today.

Typoman is launching on February 22 for Switch. You should be able to pre-load the game soon with a 20% discount. The sale price is $10.39 / £7.99, but the game will normally cost $12.99 / £9.99.

Typoman started off as a Wii U exclusive last year. Developer Brainseed Factory has since been bringing the game to additional platforms under the name “Typoman: Revised”.

As the name suggests, several improvements and changes have been made based on player feedback. The hint system is gone, many segments were designed (such as boss battles), and the controls were updated.

With Typoman starting out on Wii U, some have been hoping that those who bought the game on that platform would have access to the new version. It’s something that Brainseed wants to accomplish, but promises can’t be made yet due to limited resources.

Typoman is a game built around words. Its puzzles are words, its platforms are words, and even its enemies are word. Yet, throughout the experience, there are three words that will stand out above the rest: creative, but disappointing.
