Brawlout update

A massive patch is on the way to Brawlout. Angry Mob Games has shared the full details, which includes a Ranked Mode, video capture, and a whole lot more.

No word yet on when the update is going live, but version 1.3 should be out soon since it’s been submitted to Nintendo. Read the full patch notes below.

A major update for Brawlout is now available. For all Switch users, the latest version is 1.1.0.

This patch contains new features added in pertaining to Brawlout TV, new achievements, and more. It also implements several fixes and character balancing adjustments.

The full patch notes are as follows:

A physical version of Brawlout is on the way, Merge Games has announced. The company has partnered with Angry Mob Games to bring the Switch title to retail.

Update: Angry Mob Games has clarified that the patch is not actually live for users just yet, but it has been submitted. Expect it around a week or so. We’ll keep track of the situation.


Original: Angry Mob Games has delivered a substantial new patch for Brawlout. Version 1.1.0 has started distribution on Switch today.

Brawlout has had a bunch of new features added in pertaining to Brawlout TV, new achievements, and more. It also implements several fixes and character balancing adjustments.

Brawlout has reached a major milestone on Switch. As announced by Angry Mob Games on Twitter, the game has surpassed 50,000 players on Switch. That was done in the game’s first two weeks.

After it was first made known in August, the Switch version of Brawlout released on Switch this week. It was confirmed a few days ago that a patch is due out very soon. The update is arriving “shortly after launch which addresses any minor frame stutters or crashes”.

Interestingly, it seems there’s a bit more to the patch. Angry Mob Games shared a few more details with fans over on Reddit.

Brawlout is out now on Switch as one of the system’s latest digital downloads. Angry Mob Games has passed along some news that a patch will be released “shortly after launch which addresses any minor frame stutters or crashes”.

Brawlout is a week away from arriving on Switch. To prepare for launch, you can now pre-load the game on the North American eShop.

You may want to take advantage of pre-loading if you’re interested in Brawlout. The process lets you make a purchase in advance and download most of the necessary data. Then on launch day, you’ll be able to begin playing almost right away.

Angry Mob Games has announced that Brawlout is reaching Switch later this month. The game will be sold on the eShop beginning December 19 for $19.99. You’ll be able to pre-load the game on December 12.

Also revealed today is a new guest character for the game. Juan Aguacate, who originates from Guacamelee, will be included on the roster.
