Fall of Light: Darkest Edition

Fall of Light: Darkest Edition lands on the Switch eShop this coming Thursday. Check out some footage in the video below.

HackyZack will be available through the Switch eShop starting this Thursday. Take a look at some footage below.

Earlier this summer, Shikhondo – Soul Eater was announced for Switch. Digerati today announced that the game will be available on August 30. A 10% launch discount is planned. For those who prefer physical versions, you can pre-order a copy on Play-Asia here – including a limited edition.

Shikhondo – Soul Eater is an intense bullet-hell shmup created by Korean developer DeerFarm. The title has “hypnotic barrage patterns, enemies inspired by Asian mythology, and stunning Oriental artwork” plus a 2-player local co-op mode.

Spectrum

Earlier today, the platformer Spectrum was added to the Switch eShop. View 13 minutes of footage in the video below.

Nefarious

A couple of weeks ago, we reported that Nefarious would be coming to Switch. The news was revealed through an official news channel on the system, though at the time, no official announcement hadn’t been made.

Now thanks to Nintendo’s website, we have an official release date. Nefarious will launch via the eShop on September 13.

Digerati has announced yet another title for Switch. In partnership with Spaceboy Games and Kittehface Software, the ball-juggling puzzle platformer HackyZack will be hitting Switch next week. A new two-player mode will be included.

Here’s some additional information about HackyZack, along with a trailer:

Fall of Light: Darkest Edition

Digerati today announced a release date for Fall of Light: Darkest Edition. The action RPG is set to arrive digitally on August 23.

Fall of Light originally released in 2017, but the Darkest Edition will have new content. This includes a new dungeon complete with new enemies, traps, and weapons.

Nefarious

Our coverage of Nefarious goes way back to 2014. The game was funded on Kickstarter, and was originally planned for Wii U. There was some consideration about moving to Switch last January. StarBlade also said a few months later that it was solving “technical hurdles” on Wii U.

At this point, you’d have to think that Nefarious won’t come to Wii U. However, the game will still end up on a Nintendo console – that being Switch.

Spectrum

Spectrum has provided a release date for its digital title Spectrum. The colorful minimalist platformer, developed by 3D Avenue, is slated for August 20 on the eShop.

Spectrum can be pre-ordered starting August 10. When it goes live, a 20% discount will be in place until September 5.

Unexplored: Unlocked Edition

Digerati has a new video up for Unexplored with Joris Dormans from Ludomotion, the game’s lead developer. In it, he discusses the use of “cyclic dungeon generation” and how it improves the player experience compared to regular procedural generation. View the video below.
