Armillo delayed, special introductory price announced

It was confirmed by developer Fuzzy Wuzzy Games that Armillo has been delayed due to submission complications within the eShop. To make up for this, they are offering an introductory price of $5.99 in the first 3 weeks after launch and anticipate that they will be able to make an announcement regarding a global release soon.
The full press statement read:
Good news, our game is finished and we’re extremely excited to release it as soon as possible!
However, with Armillo being our first Nintendo eShop game, the submission process is taking longer than we originally anticipated. What this means is that we’ll miss our anticipated release date of May 12th. While we hate to delay, we expect to be able to make a formal announcement of the global launch date in coordination with Nintendo very soon.
Your patience will not go unrewarded, though! We’re happy to announce that Armillo will launch at the introductory price of $5.99 for the first 3 weeks of release! After the first 3 weeks, the game will return to the standard $7.99 price that we originally planned. This is our way of thanking our early supporters for buying the game early, and our way of apologizing for all of the delays.

Seems like just enough to drive you over the deep end, right? Well, in Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate — Deluxe Edition for Wii U, you, the player, as the eponymous Batman, find yourself in that very peculiar predicament.
Pier Solar HD set to release in April, 3DS version possible

Not only will the crowdfunded remake of this Sega Genesis RPG be hitting the Wii U in just a few months, it looks like a 3DS version of the game could be on the cards. In an interview with Nintendo Enthusiast, WaterMelon President Tulio Goncalves said that the company was hoping to release the Wii U version of the 90’s-JRPG-inspired title in April. Of course, the game was originally intended to release in December of last year, and then in “Q1 2014” so we’ll see. The Wii U version will make use of the console’s second screen, a feature that will be exclusive to Nintendo’s console – although Goncalves teased that it wouldn’t be exclusive for long if the game eventually made the jump to the 3DS. It might be a while before we see a 3DS version, though, as the game is already being ported to the Wii U, PS3, PS4, PC, Mac, Linux, Android, Xbox One, Ouya and Dreamcast. Phew.

Nintendo of Europe starting to send out Super Mario Bros. Deluxe codes

Anyone in Europe who entered into Nintendo’s “Join Nintendo Network Promotion”, check your e-mails right now! Nintendo of Europe and Australia have started to send out free download codes for the Game Boy Color classic, Super Mario Bros. Deluxe, provided you registered a Nintendo Network ID to your Nintendo 3DS before the 31st of February. Now you can enjoy one of the best platformers on the console, just with no Game Boy Printer support and controls that make it almost unplayable. Strangely, the game is absent from the 3DS eShop outside of the promotion, which seems like a missed opportunity.
