Fire Emblem Engage Break

Nintendo and Intelligent Systems shared more details on Fire Emblem Engage today, and we’ve got a bit of news about weapons and the “Break” feature in battle. Serenes Forest provided a translation of what was shared on social media.

Players will find that every character is capable of using various weapons. Like in other Fire Emblem games, weapons can have advantages or disadvantages against each other so it’s important to choose advantageous weapons when attacking.

Here’s how it works:

Nintendo and Intelligent Systems are back with another character introduction for Fire Emblem Engage, this time highlighting Louis, an Armored Lance unit from the Kingdom of Philene who serves as a royal knight.

Nintendo and Intelligent Systems introduced two more characters for Fire Emblem Engage this week, with Alfred and Celine getting a few details. They’re the First Prince and Princess of the Kingdom of Firene respectively.

Nintendo and Intelligent Systems are back with another character introduction for Fire Emblem Engage, this time highlighting Marth.

The game is bringing back heroes from past entries in the series, and Marth is among them. These characters can be summoned with Emblem Rings, and their power can be added to yours.

Fire Emblem Engage Framme and Cramme

Nintendo and Intelligent Systems have shared details on two more characters for Fire Emblem Engage, this time introducing Framme and Cramme (tentative name). This follows the details provided for Alear and Vander.

Fire Emblem Engage Alear and Vander

Fire Emblem Engage was announced this week, and Nintendo is starting to follow up with additional information by covering Alear and Vander.

Dragon Child is the starting class for Alear. They’re descended from a clan of dragons that has existed since ancient times and they can use Divine Dragon Sword Arts.

Nintendo has shared a batch of screenshots for Fire Emblem Engage. Just a short while ago, the game was unveiled for Switch.

Fire Emblem Engage

The next major Fire Emblem release was unveiled during today’s Nintendo Direct, with Fire Emblem Engage coming to Switch. It will launch on January 20, 2023.
