Koei Tecmo is gearing up for a localization announcement of Atelier Ryza. The company put out the teaser video below today, which was the same one used prior to the game’s original reveal in Japan. News regarding Atelier Ryza’s localization will be shared on June 26.

Atelier Ryza is due out in Japan on September 26. We should be hearing about the game’s western release window later in the week.

Preview images of this week’s Famitsu magazine have appeared online, and they have revealed that a new game in the Atelier series is under development at Koei Tecmo and Gust. Specifically, this game will be the fourth entry in the Arland series of games – the first three games conveniently were recently re-released as deluxe versions on Nintendo Switch in Japan, with a Western release coming up on December 4th. Not much was revealed other than the teaser image you can see above, although Famitsu does point out that a new scene was present in the DX version of Atelier Meruru, which already teased that a new game in the series is coming:

Technically we don’t know yet if this new game will be on Nintendo Switch, but given Koei Tecmo’s support for the system, we’d be surprised if it wasn’t. We should have more information once we get our hands on the full version of Famitsu tomorrow.

The next entry in the “Atelier” series of games has been announced via Famitsu, and it’ll be released on Nintendo Switch. Titled Nelke and the Legendary Alchemists, the game is a town-building RPG featuring many characters from previous Atelier games (thanks to Siliconera for the translation).

The game’s main character is Nelke von Luchetam. Coming from a family of nobles, she actually has no talent for alchemy herself. She has been charged with developing the frontier town of Vestabalt by her father. She’s also searching for the mysterious “Sage’s Remains”.

Gust have published video that gives a nice preview of the Nights of Azure 2 soundtrack; give it a watch:

As a reminder, both of the game’s special editions also come with a copy of the soundtrack. Nights of Azure 2 will be released on the Switch in Japan on August 31st.

The boxart is in for Nights of Azure 2. Take a look at the packaging image above.
