For the most part, Kirby Star Allies appears to run primarily at 30 frames per second. Barring any last-minute changes, the gameplay itself will hold steady at the count. This includes cut-scenes as well.

The only exception pertains to the menus. When on the title screen or anywhere else inside menus (including the pause menu), Kirby Star Allies goes up to 60 frames per second.

A new update is now available for Kirby Battle Royale. The latest patch is version 3.0.

The highlight of Kirby Battle Royale’s update is the addition of the Sleep Copy Ability. We’ve posted the full patch notes below.

  • Added Kirby’s Sleep Copy Ability.
  • Adjusted balance of Copy Ability strengths.
  • Several adjustments made to enhance gameplay.
  • In Online Battle, a Battle Arena match will be terminated if it is taking unusually long due to attacks focused on one player. This will end as an incomplete game that won’t affect Ranking Points.

Kirby isn’t the only series HAL Laboratory is known for. Over the past few years, the company has created a series of BoxBoy! games. Even its main character Qbby received an amiibo – well, in Japan at least.

As a nod to its past works, Kirby Star Allies has a special cameo. Those with preview access have discovered that Qbby can be found in the game.

Thanks to Álvaro for the tip.
