Horizon Chase Turbo

A major 2.5 update has just been released for Horizon Chase Turbo.

After installing the patch, players can access a new Adventures Mode. It includes new circuits, 34 new skins, and at least of 8 hours of content. 

The full patch notes for the Horizon Chase Turbo version 2.5 update are as follows:

Today, Horizon Chase Turbo developer Aquiris unveiled a brand new Senna Forever Expansion for Horizon Chase Turbo. The paid DLC pays homage to legendary driver Ayrton Senna with a new set of cars, tracks, and features inspired by his career.

In single player career mode, you’ll follow the steps of the Brazilian driver through five nostalgic chapters. It comes with a new first-person view as well as new race strategy mechanics as you make tough choices and choose your car setup based on each race track and weather conditions.

Aquiris’ racing game Horizon Chase Turbo continues to receive major additions. Switch players will soon be able to access the “Hometown Update”, which includes the developer’s hometown of Porto Alegre. Also included is a new car, the Minuano, with six skins.

Brand new Rookie Series has been announced for the Switch racer Horizon Chase Turbo. The new campaign arrives on Switch today and “is directed at young and inexperienced players, as it will teach the game basics in a welcoming environment, where they can evolve at their own pace.”

Aquiris Game Studio has announced that it will soon be bringing new DLC to Horizon Chase Turbo. Summer Vibes is releasing on PlayStation 4 first today, followed by Switch later on.

The Summer Vibes DLC includes:

PM Studios and acttil have dated the physical version of Horizon Chase Turbo. In North America, it will be available at retailers starting July 30. All initial copies will come with deluxe package art and an exclusive “Thank You” card from the developer.

Horizon Chase Turbo

Aquiris isn’t done with its Switch racer Horizon Chase Turbo – far from it. Today, the studio shared an announcement detailing what’s planned as we approach the second half of 2019.

Playground Mode is getting a new focus, as players can earn exclusive prizes and gain access to new skins in special seasons. Aquiris has also teased new DLC involving “new cars, new campaigns, and more.” Finally, new modes have been teased.

Horizon Chase Turbo is due out physically on Switch this spring. You can pre-order the racer here.

A few days ago, a fresh listing for Horizon Chase Turbo appeared on the ESRB even though the game has been available on the eShop for several months. It was a sign that a physical release could be in the works.

As has been speculated, Horizon Chase Turbo is indeed heading to retail. PM Studios and acttil, along with developer Aquiris, have confirmed that the title is going physical. We’ll be seeing it on North American store shelves this spring.

Horizon Chase Turbo is only available as a digital download at the moment. Back in November, Aquiris released its racer on the eShop. But could a physical version be in the cards as well?

A new rating for Horizon Chase Turbo recently appeared on the ESRB website. It’s noteworthy due to the company that’s listed as publisher: PM Studios. PM Studios has brought several eShop-only games to retail, including Voez, Musynx, Mercenaries Saga Chronicles, and more. It certainly looks like Horizon Chase Turbo could be one of its future physical releases.
