August 27: A new set of Nintendo Switch Online icons are now available Kirby and the Forgotten Land, which celebrates the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. Designs were previously went live awhile back, though now fans can get their hands on the latest ones.
It’s the usual deal here. You can nab icons for characters, backgrounds, and frames. As we typically see, characters cost 10 Platinum Points on My Nintendo. Backgrounds and frames are 5 Platinum Points each.

Following the launch of Kirby and the Forgotten Land on Nintendo Switch 2, we have a new video comparison showing how it stacks up to the Switch 1 version.
There are definitely some extra bells and whistles on Nintendo Switch 2. Whereas the original game rate at 30 FPS, it’s now been bumped up to 60 on the new console – plus animations for distance enemies have seen a boost. There’s also a resolution increase for both docked and handheld modes.

This game’s title is a mouthful, to say the least! It’s been about two years since we’ve received a new Kirby game, and Nintendo has decided to release an upgrade pack for Kirby and the Forgotten Land. When it first launched in 2022, it was met with critical acclaim. Not only is the game considered one of Kirby’s best, it’s up there as one of the greatest 3D platformers – perhaps not on par with your Super Mario Odyssey or Donkey Kong Bananza, but up there nonetheless. The Nintendo Switch 2 Edition of Kirby and the Forgotten Land promises performance bumps and twelve new levels with Star-Crossed World.

It’s been a bit since Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo was updated with a new theme, but now an initial announcement has been shared that support is planned for Kirby and the Forgotten Land.
Right now we’re waiting on most of the details, including a release date. However, we do know that there’ll be seven new alarms, including ones from Star-Crossed World.

Nintendo and HAL Laboratory have issued a new version 1.1.0 update for Kirby and the Forgotten Land.
As many of you know, a new Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is about to release. This is primarily what the patch is intended for. On top of that though, some unspecified issues have ben addressed.

Gear Mouth and Sign Mouth have been officially revealed as new Mouthful Modes for the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition of Kirby and the Forgotten Land following a recent leak. A video was just posted with a first look.
Spring Mouth was previously showcased. By using it, players can bounce around and high jump to reach lofty platforms. They can also smash down to squash enemies or break objects and surfaces.

Kirby and the Forgotten is soon getting a brand new Nintendo Switch 2 Edition with Star Crossed World, but ahead of the launch, a few abilities have seemingly leaked.
The information stems from what looks to be the download code in Japan. We’ll be posting it below – which shows images of the new Mouthful Mode abilities for Kirby and the Forgotten Land on Nintendo Switch 2 – so keep that in mind before proceeding.

One of the best parts of the Kirby franchise is how flexible it is. If you so choose, you can romp right through the main campaign of whichever game you please while paying little attention to the story. For those who do want to delve into Kirby lore, though, there are plenty of tidbits to uncover here and there. Kirby and the Forgotten Land was absolutely bursting to the brim with new lore details, and you can read all about them here. Now, Kirby and the Forgotten Land is receiving a new DLC story called Star-Crossed World. As you might expect, this will probably contain at least a few new lore drops.
