Rugrats Adventures in Gameland release date

Rugrats: Adventures in Gameland doesn’t have a release date, but we do now have a release month. The Media Indie Exchange Games, Wallride, and Limited Run Games have confirmed that it will launch in March 2024. Also, a Switch version has now been officially confirmed.

Rugrats: Adventures in Gameland was first announced in August 2023. It’s a retro-inspired puzzle-platforming adventure based on the beloved ‘90s Nickelodeon franchise.

Plumbers Don't Wear Ties: Definitive Edition release date

Thanks to a listing on the eShop, Plumbers Don’t Wear Ties: Definitive Edition now has a release date on Switch. The page indicates that it will be available on March 5, 2024.

Plumbers Don’t Wear Ties: Definitive Edition brings back the 1993 title, now with “4K remastered photos and a wealth of documentary and interview content.” Further details can be found in the following overview:

Rocket Knight Adventures Re-Sparked

January 11: Limited Run Games and today unveiled Rocket Knight Adventures: Re-Sparked, which brings back the classic Konami series on Switch with physical versions to boot. A release window hasn’t been shared just yet.

Rocket Knight Adventures: Re-Sparked includes the original game, Sparkster: Rocket Knight Adventures 2, and Sparkster. The package is powered by the Carbon Engine and features a new animated intro, rewind functionality, Boss Rush Mode, and Museum Mode.

El Shaddai Switch physical

Limited Run Games today unveiled details about plans for the physical version of El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron HD Remaster on Switch in the west.

In addition to a standard copy, a Deluxe Edition will be available. The Deluxe Edition includes a soundtrack, poster and Nephilim enamel pin.

There was previously no official word on Cosmic Fantasy Collection for the west, but that’s now changed with Limited Run Games revealing localization plans which includes a physical release.

For the physical versions, there’ll be a standard copy and deluxe edition. The latter contains a number of extras – a pin, poster, soundtrack CD, and retro slipcover.

Might & Magic Clash of Heroes physical

Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes – Definitive Edition previously hit the Switch eShop, but it’s now getting a physical release thanks to Limited Run Games.

The company has announced plans for a standard version and deluxe edition. The latter features a poster, pins, and an acrylic standee as extras.

Bill & Ted's Excellent Retro Collection delisted

Just under a year since its launch, Bill & Ted’s Excellent Retro Collection is about to be delisted on the Switch eShop.

Limited Run Games posted the news on social media. Switch and other platforms are being affected by the move since its license is expiring. The good news is that if you’ve already picked up the package previously, you’ll still be able to access it.

Saturnalia physical

A little over a year following its digital launch, Saturnalia is now planned for physical release on Switch.

Limited Run Games will be in charge of distribution. The company will only be offering a standard version at this time.

Devil Engine Complete Edition physical

Limited Run Games is working on a physical release of Devil Engine: Complete Edition for Switch, the company announced today.

You may remember that Devil Engine technically already launched on Switch in 2019. However, it then reshipped as a new “Complete Edition” last month. A physical edition also came to Japan, though this is the first time it’ll have a boxed copy elsewhere.

Atari Recharged Collection 3 and 4

Limited Run Games announced this week that it will release physical versions of Atari Recharged Collection 3 and 4 on Switch.

Yars: Recharged and and Caverns of Mars: Recharged are in the third collection. The fourth collection contains Missile Command: Recharged and Gravitar: Recharged. Limited Run Games previously made packages for other entries in the Recharged series that you can read about here.
