Minecraft Dungeons - Howling Peaks DLC

Mojang Studios has set a final release date for Mincraft Dungeons’ new Howling Peaks DLC. It will launch on December 8 alongside a free update, the developer announced today.

Minecraft Dungeons has been updated to version 1.6.0.0. Aside from the new cross-platform play support, changes and fixes have been implemented.

Minecraft Dungeons’ new cross-platform play functionality has gone live. In a new trailer has been released to promote the feature, which we have below.

Minecraft has received a fairly significant update. Version 1.16.100 is live, which mostly features tons of changes and fixes.

Minecraft is teaming up with Star Wars as part of its latest DLC mash-up. Fans can get their hands on content from A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, and The Mandalorian. The DLC includes a map, a skin pack, a full bespoke texture set, mobs and items reskins, UI treatment, and a licensed soundtrack.

Cross-play support is heading to Minecraft Dungeons next week, Mojang Studios has announced. The functionality should be going live on November 17.

When the feature is active, Switch players will be able to connect online with users on other platforms – specifically the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Minecraft Dungeons originally made it back to Switch in May. More support is planned for the game in the future.
