Pokemon Violet

The Pokemon Company has today aired a special webinar under the name of the World Pokémon Ecological Society, and in this they revealed a brand new Pokemon for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Original (9/7): Nintendo will release a special Switch OLED system for Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet, the company has announced. It will be available on November 4, 2022 at select stores. Pricing is set at $359.99.

The console features art inspired by the upcoming Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet games. The Legendary Pokemon Koraidon and Miraidon are displayed on the glossy front side of the white system’s dock, and a design inspired by the series’ iconic Poke Ball is shown on the back. The back of the system itself is adorned with special illustrations of the three Pokémon you can choose as your first partners in the game – Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly – along with illustrations of symbols players may recognize as they journey through the games. If that wasn’t enough, the Joy-Con controllers, which match the main colors of Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet, feature the school emblems of the Naranja Academy and Uva Academy that appear in the respective games.

Armarouge, Ceruledge, Klawf

Three more Pokemon have been revealed for Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet today – specifically Armarouge, Ceruledge, Klawf. Details have been shared about each one.

Armarouge can be found only in Pokemon Scarlet while Ceruledge will be available in Pokemon Violet. Klawf is not exclusive and will be included in both titles.

Armarouge is a Fire Warrior Pokemon, Ceruledge is a Fire Blades Pokemon, and Klawf is a Ambush Pokemon. Read more about them below.

A new “Seek Your Treasure!” trailer has just dropped for Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet. Multiple story paths, new features, and new characters are shown.

The trailer will be going live at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET / 2 PM in the UK / 3 PM in Europe. We’ll have it right here on the main site as soon as it’s available.

Grafaiai Pokemon Scarlet Violet

Grafaiai will be appearing as a new creature in Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet, The Pokemon Company revealed today.

Grafaiai was actually teased this week via social media. The Pokemon Company has been sharing a few snapshots mentioning “strange markings taken by a photographer from Paldea.” The creature’s name was later confirmed, but a pair of new videos today provide a first look.

Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet Battle Stadium

The Pokemon Company has provided details about the Battle Stadium feature in Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet, which lets players use the internet to battle others. We have information about Casual and Ranked battles, online competitions, and rental teams.

Cyclizar Pokemon Scarlet Violet

Cyclizar is joining Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet as a new creature in the games, it’s been revealed. Its type is Dragon/Normal.

The creature has the move Shed Tail, which creates a substitution and swaps places with a party Pokemon in waiting.

Toby Fox Undertale Pokemon Scarlet Violet

Original (6/1): Toby Fox, the creator of Undertale, has confirmed that he composed a few music tracks for Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet.

According to Fox, he was heavily involved with the field music. Once he made a concept sketch, “Game Freak arranged it into many versions that you’ll hear throughout the game.” Fans can actually get a small taste of Fox’s work as it was featured in the new trailer for Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet, available here.

August 2022 Pokemon Presents recap announcement
