Mario Kart World retains its streak as the top seller. Also, for new releases, Everybody’s Golf Hot Shots sold just under 50,000 copies at retail to land at #3.

Similar to last month, Donkey Kong Bananza is #1. But one game worth highlighting is Madden NFL 26, which is right behind. Story of Season: Grand Bazaar is in third as another new release.

After it was #3 previously, Donkey Kong Bananza slips to #7. New titles on the list include Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles and Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar.

The latest UK software sales chart for the week ending October 4, 2025 is now available.

There are more new releases this week, including Super Mario Galaxy 1 + 2 at #3. Also new is Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles, which lands at #5 (55 percent of the game’s sales were on Nintendo Switch, 45 percent for PS5). LEGO Party is also down at #26 with a split of 56 percent for Nintendo Switch, 34 percent for PS5, and 11 percent for Xbox Series.

Nintendo shared new data this week revealing the best-selling games on the Japanese Switch 2 and Switch eShops for September 2025.

Over on Nintendo Switch 2, there are some new releases – but Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar manages to come on top. Hollow Knight: Silksong has been dominating elsewhere, though it settles for second here. Other new games include Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles, Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion, and Super Mario Galaxy on Nintendo Switch 1 (with pre-loads).
