The latest UK software sales chart for the week ending March 2, 2024 is now available.
Looking strictly at Switch games, there isn’t too much notable news. Mario vs. Donkey Kong slips from #3 to #5 while Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Super Mario Bros. Wonder right behind. Currently EA Sports FC 24 is the top Switch title at #2.

The latest UK software sales chart for the week ending February 24, 2024 is now available.
After landing at #1 previously, Mario vs. Donkey Kong slips slightly to the third spot. EA Sports FC 24 is now at the top with Hogwarts Legacy right behind it.

Best-selling games of January 2024 in the U.S. on Switch

New data from Circana gives us a look at the best-selling games of January 2024 specifically on Switch.
Nintendo tends to dominate, but there are a few third-party games here. Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown cracks the top five, for example. Hogwarts Legacy is still doing well at #2. Super Mario Bros. Wonder is still the overall top seller.

Circana has released a listing of the top ten best-selling games in the U.S. for the month of January 2024.
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown came out last month, and ends up at #13. Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash, another new release, manages to end up in the chart at #19. Super Mario Bros. Wonder is the first appearance of a Nintendo-published title at #11.

SteamWorld Build sales “slightly short of expectations”, SteamWorld Headhunter “put on hold”

As part of its latest financial results, Thunderful CEO Martin Walfisz commented on the sales of SteamWorld Build. While we don’t have specific data, SteamWorld Build “fell slightly short of expectations”.
Switch was actually referenced specifically here. Walfisz said “the genre of this game has not really appealed to our most dedicated target audience and it has not been well-suited to the Switch console, which has traditionally been a key platform for SteamWorld games.”
