Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS

Another assist trophy today, this time featuring Nightmare Wizard from Kirby titles:

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS has already picked up one award from this year’s Gamescom. Consumers have chosen the title as their most wanted game.

The official Gamescom Twitter account shared the news earlier today in the form of the following message:


Smash Bros. is nominated for several other awards, which will be chosen by an international jury comprised of various members from the games media. For the full listing of nominees, check out this post.

If you hit the X Button, it will randomly fill up the remaining weight allowance with powers. You can keep changing the line-up as many times as you please. The level of a power is proportional to its strength, number of uses, and weight. Organizing them might be easier if you label your favorite powers with a ?.

The Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS website has been updated with a bunch of new screenshots and details about solo play in the 3DS version, controls, and stages. Find the images above and look for the information below.

Classic

In Classic mode on the Nintendo 3DS, players choose different paths as they proceed along a map and fight against waiting CPU opponents.

There are many different kinds of matches, including one-on-one fights, team battles with CPU players both aiding and attacking you, matches where you must defeat opponents one after another or in groups, and even more.

When you win a match, you will receive a reward. Besides trophies and gold, you can also receive custom parts.

Meta Knight is returning for the new Smash Bros. games on Wii U and 3DS, Nintendo has revealed. The character was confirmed through an update on the official website just moments ago. Screenshots of Meta Knight in action can be found above.

Today Sakurai gives us a look at an interesting item, the Special Flag. It functions a little differently to items we’ve seen previous:
