NIS America is delaying The Cruel King and The Great Hero in the west, but only slightly. It’s now planned for March 15, 2022 in North America and March 11, 2022 in Europe.
The Cruel King and The Great Hero was last on track for for March 1 in North America and March 4 in Europe.

NIS America has set a final release date for The Cruel King and the Great Hero outside of Japan. In North America, the game is set for March 1, 2022. Those in Europe can pick up the title on March 4.

Nippon Ichi Software has released another trailer for The Wicked King and the Noble Hero. This newest release features the game’s theme song, “Hoshi no Yosuga” sung by Akiko Shikata, as well as introducing story elements from the game. The game releases in Japan on June 24th. The Wicked King and the Noble Hero has received a new trailer leaning into the storybook aesthetic of the game. This trailer is nearly 5 minutes long and it features narration by Reina Kondou as images from the game are shown in a flipbook format.
