LEGO 2K Drive announcement

Following yesterday’s reveal of LEGO 2K Drive, the official announcement has been shared with even more details. We also have the first trailer with a glimpse at gameplay.

Here’s the press release in full:

LEGO 2K Drive

2K, Visual Concepts, and the LEGO Group have announced LEGO 2K Drive, a “AAA driving adventure game”. It will be available for Switch on May 19, 2023.

LEGO 2K Drive will feature an open world with single and multiplayer support plus the ability to create vehicles. There’ll be different biomes, races, minigames, challenges, collectibles, things to destroy, and a story. The customization system has over 1,000 unique LEGO pieces, but there’ll be standard cars to use from LEGO City, Creator, Speed Champions, and even the McLaren Solus GT, and F1 LM. Co-op will be supported, in addition to competitive multiplayer with up to six players – not to mention two-player split-screen.

NBA 2K23 gameplay

NBA 2K23 just arrived, and we have an early look at the Switch version with new gameplay. Eight minutes of footage shows a match between the Warriors and Celtics.

Find some information about NBA 2K23 in the following overview:

NBA 2K23 Switch

2K shared preliminary details about NBA 2K23, confirming that the game is heading to Switch in September and Michael Jordan will appear on both covers of the Michael Jordan Edition and the ultra-premium Championship Edition.

NBA 2K23 is also reintroducing The Jordan Challenge, “which encourages players to recreate 15 iconic moments from Jordan’s illustrious career.” According to 2K, all ten of the original challenges from NBA 2K11 have been rebuilt from the ground up, and players can look forward to five new iconic Jordan moments. These challenges “provide a completely new way to play through Jordan’s accomplishments – all housed within its own game mode.”
