Random

Oh man… this is both hilarious and downright creepy at the same time:

This is about as random as you think it is:

I’m conflicted. I love me some Toki Tori, but I can’t stand the Harlem Shake. I feel like that meme ran its course weeks ago!

Nintendo actually posted this video to its YouTube account. The year of Luigi has begun!

Nintendo will probably never allow Wii U owners to play 3DS games on their televisions (or GamePads). But that doesn’t mean we can’t imagine the possibility!

Dave Delisle created a “DSU” concept that would permit users to plug a 3DS game into a small box, which is in turn connected to a Wii U. The hardware would beam the the 3DS’ top screen to a TV and the bottom screen to the GamePad. Of course, you’d lose the 3D effect.

This isn’t real. But it’s kind of neat. It may remind you of that lovely Game Boy Player for GameCube!

YouTube user “Paul LastLevelTech” was able to successfully connected his Wii U to a SEGA Game Gear. Paul says he took on the project “to show off the handheld LCD differences in technology from the 90’s and now.”

Yes, this is completely random. But hey, it works.

I get the feeling that most gamers would rather stick with their old NES controllers, but this is an incredible project!

It took around four hours to recreate Super Mario Bros.’s 1-1 in Minecraft:

This isn’t the N64 kid, but you may be reminded of him after watching the video below:

As a show that has been running for over 600 episodes, it makes sense that the Pokemon anime series would have its fair share of Christmas specials, but this time around I only want to focus on the show’s first Christmas special. Holiday Hi-Jynx (I appreciate the restraint in not calling it “Jynx-le Bells”) aired fairly early in the series’ run —early enough for the episode to actually be broadcast.
