More hype for Red Steel 2?

Not too long ago, news was released of a possible Red Steel 2 preview in next month’s Nintendo Power. Fresh off of that comes some additional hype for a game that is said to be an exclusive to next month’s issue of the Official Nintendo Magazine. This is straight from ONM’s Twitter:
“Neil [ONM editor] is currently in another country looking at our exclusive game for issue 43… what could it be? It’s not Ninjabread Man 2 by the way.”
Two big exclusives in two Nintendo magazines seems like a dream come true. More updates on both of the titles as they become available.

Rabbids Go Home expected to release Holiday 2009

SAN FRANCISCO – April 9, 2009 – Today Ubisoft announced that the Rabbids will receive their own standalone brand with the Holiday 2009 release of the comedy-adventure Rabbids Go Home. Developed by Ubisoft Montpellier, the team behind Beyond Good & Evil®, Peter Jackson’s King Kong: The Official Game of the Movie and the original Rayman Raving Rabbids®, the game will benefit from a new engine designed specifically for the Wii(TM) home video game system from Nintendo, offering the Rabbids a hilarious adventure in a brand new universe.
Feline favors 3D Picross

When the original Picross released, it flawlessly captured the minds of both game critics and puzzle fanatics alike. Now it seems that the game’s sequel, “Picross 3D”, has extended its reach beyond the minds of the human race. This video shows a DS owner and his cat playing Picross 3D, much to the enjoyment of the cat.

Nintendo’s DS to help doctors and nurses with new software

We’ve all heard stories of patients in hospitals playing their DS’ and using their Wiis for fitness and health, but now, Nintendo’s handheld will be taking an extra step in helping the medical profession get things done. A new software being developed by Community Engine will soon be implemented to help doctors and nurses monitor their patient’s health without the hassle of dragging around a clipboard. “Suguroku DS” can be used to record important medical data such as temperature, blood pressure, and various other vitals that could be key in saving a life; or curing a child’s stuffy nose. This data can then be transferred directly to a computer where it can be further distributed.
“Suguroku DS” is scheduled to go on sale in Japan in June of 2009, and will sell for a price of 40,000 yen, or $400 USD.
Tiger Woods PGA Tour ’10 to include Disk Golf?

The most recent update to the “Expanded Information” section of the Tiger Woods PGA Tour ’10 Wii page contains an interesting new detail; the game is reportedly going to include an all-new disk golf mode, where players can apparently play disk golf on all 27 courses included in the main game.
If this is true, I think it is safe to expect that the extra mode will be using WiiMotion Plus and will have multi-player support.
