With June 2024’s Nintendo Direct all wrapped up, we thought it’d be a good time to pick five of the best Nintendo Directs and ask you: which one is your favorite of all time?
Nintendo Directs are no doubt one of the absolute highlights of being a Nintendo fan. Today, we’re going over all of the locations for the Gloomy Manor Gems in Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD.
Gems – or in the case of Gloomy Manor, Amethysts – are the main collectible found in the game. They’re scattered throughout various missions, and they’re all rather tricky to find. Some of them require the Dark-Light Device, which you don’t obtain until Gloomy Manor’s fourth mission. This means you’ll need to complete that mission and then revisit the first three levels if you want to get all the collectibles.
How to get the Money Money Badge in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door
Posted on 6 months ago by Ethan in Guides, Switch | 0 comments
The Money Money Badge is one of the most useful Badges Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door has to offer. It drastically increases the number of Coins you earn after a battle, and there are two instances of these Badges that you can collect. You can get the first one by grinding Piantas at the Pianta Parlor, which is fairly self-explanatory. The second one, however, is given as a prize via a Boo in the Creepy Steeple. If you can pass his quiz, you’ll eventually receive a second Money Money Badge.

The Triumvirate is a new King Salmonid challenge introduced alongside Splatoon 3’s Big Big Run event. Like the other King Salmonid battles, the Triumvirate has a chance of appearing at the end of Wave 3 if your King Salmonid meter is full. When it appears, you’ll need to take on a Cohozuna, Horroboros, and Megalodontia all at once. This is one of Splatoon 3’s greatest challenges, and we’ve written up a Triumvirate guide with all of the best strategies and tips for taking down all three King Salmonids in one go. When the Triumvirate appears, you will be given a random Grizzco weapon, which means there’s a certain element of randomness to winning the battle.

Badges are extremely helpful, and when Mario levels up, you can choose to increase his HP, FP, or BP. While most players understandably aim for a balance between the stats, BP is actually so useful that you can focus solely on increasing it and still be fine.

How to take Switch screenshots after Twitter support discontinuation
Posted on 6 months ago by Ethan in Guides, Switch | 0 comments
Switch screenshots have been a thing ever since the console’s release back in 2017. Unfortunately, sharing these screenshots and video just got harder – thanks to the newly-raised (and extremely high) cost of Twitter / X’s API, every major game console has cut support for the platform. Nintendo was the last to do so, and support for screenshot and video sharing on Twitter officially ended on June 11. Fortunately, there’s an incredibly easy way to share Switch screenshots and videos that has gone rather overlooked until now – and if you want to continue sharing your content, you’ll definitely want to know about it.
