Selection II will be hitting the Japanese eShop as a Game Boy download on June 13 for 400 yen. Screenshots of the game can be found above.

Rumor: A look at the Wii U’s first development kits

Above are two rumored pictures of the Wii U’s first dev kits, codenamed under the CAT-DEV (Cafe Tool for Development) banner.
The hardware lacks DRC (Display Remote Controller) support and is without any optical media. Developers were only able to make use of the Wii Classic Controller at this stage. The back of the hardware features the same outputs as the Wii along with the HDMI output/the classic controller port.
Of course, future iterations introduced new functionality and upgrades. Without DRC, I don’t believe developers would have been able to make use of the Wii U GamePad.

Trine 2: Director’s Cut will cost no more than $20

Trine 2: Director’s Cut doesn’t have a final price point yet, but fans will be able to pick it up for either $15 or $20. The regular edition can be purchased for $15 on a number of platforms right now.
Director’s Cut could cost a few dollars more for its exclusive content/upgrades. Developer Frozenbyte is currently evaluating the price point. The studio wants to make sure its reasonable enough so that consumers will be interested in purchasing the game.
Frozenbyte says that the actual porting process was actually quite simple. Trine 2 was moved to the console easily enough, and the team then was able to enhance the visuals.
