Following yesterday’s tease, Atlus USA has posted a new clue for the mystery game announcement on their Facebook page. I’m really starting to get the feeling here that this is for Growlanser or Gungnir…

Both are PSP games, so I think we’ll stop coverage on this from here on out. You can find further updates about this tease on our sister site in the future.

Shigeru Miyamoto has answered a bunch of questions in a new interview with Wired. One of the more interesting points from the discussion is that he expressed willingness to let Retro Studios collaborate with Nintendo on Zelda. He talks about Mario 3D Land, Skyward Sword, a little bit about Wii U, and a bunch of other topics.

All of Miyamoto’s comments can be found after the break.

TT Games is continuing their work on the LEGO game series with LEGO Batman 2: Super Heroes. The title was confirmed in a toy set that has been spotted in the U.S. and will be arriving in the UK soon. LEGO Batman 2 is definitely coming to Wii and 3DS, though it isn’t clear if a DS version is in the works as well.

Batman 2 will be the second LEGO game launching in 2012. Nintendo will publish LEGO City Stories for Wii U and 3DS sometime next year.

… And here we have yet another small boxart image. If Nintendo shares the photo in a higher size, we’ll repost it on the main site.

Nintendo of Europe has joined NoA in announcing release schedule for the Wii, 3DS, and DS. There’s nothing too specific here – Mario Party 9 and PokePark 2 are listed as general March games, for example – but there is some interesting information included.

The complete press release can be found below.

13th December 2011 – As the nights get longer and the year draws to a close, Nintendo looks ahead to what is shaping up to be a packed 2012 for all game lovers. Whether you own a Nintendo 3DS™ or Wii™, there will be an adventure to put a spring into your step in 2012.

Mario’s had a busy end to the year. Whether he’s been racing through the air, across the land or at the bottom of the sea in Mario Kart™ 7 which launched on 2nd December 2011 or donning his favourite Tanooki Suit to master a mixture of new and classic abilities on his quest through the Mushroom Kingdom in SUPER MARIO 3D LAND™ which launched on 18th November 2011. Mario isn’t finished there, however; he will be picking up a tennis racket in Mario Tennis™* and heading to the 2012 London Olympic games with Sonic in Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games™ (SEGA), both launching in 2012 for Nintendo 3DS.

Earlier today, Nintendo announced a slew of North American launch dates. Inside the company’s press release was a brief notice about the Circle Pad Pro.

Nintendo of America confirmed that the accessory will be available on February 7 for $19.99. Additionally, it seems that it will be a GameStop exclusive, much like Xenoblade Chronicles.

Here’s the relevant blurb from the PR:

“Nintendo is also introducing an optional accessory that gives Nintendo 3DS owners a second analog stick to control compatible games. The Circle Pad Pro will launch in the United States on Feb. 7. It will be sold through GameStop stores and online at http://www.gamestop.com at a suggested retail price of $19.99.”
