Hyrule Historia showcase: Fantastic Twilight Princess art
Posted on 13 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News | 0 comments
The largest section of Hyrule Historia belongs to Skyward Sword, but there are still a ton of pages that feature art from other Zelda games including Twilight Princess.
This first batch of concept images from Twilight Princess shows an assortment of character art. We get a better look at the unused design for Sheik (though it was implemented in Super Smash Bros. Brawl), concept art for Ganondorf, Zant, and a slew of other NPCs.
We’ll have the second batch of Twilight Princess scans soon, as well as more art from other Zelda titles.
Zelda: Ocarina of Time – Minecraft edition

A fan has gone through the painstaking process of remaking The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time in Minecraft. Areas such as the Temple of Time, Zora’s Domain, and Hyrule Castle have all been recreated by using hundreds upon hundreds of blocks.
An alpha build of the “Hyrulecraft” project has been published and is available for testing. You can find a download link here, and more information here.
This is one of the more exciting Ocarina of Time remixes we’ve seen, so we’re quite interested to see what’s next for “Hyrulecraft”.
Namco Bandai cuts big chunk of content from European release of One Piece: Unlimited Cruise SP
Posted on 13 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 0 comments
One Piece: Unlimited Cruise SP came out in Japan a couple of months after the 3DS’ launch last year. It included two games in one. Both Unlimited Cruise Wii titles were packed into one game card, along with the Marine Ford mode.
The European version of One Piece: Unlimited Cruise SP is finally releasing next month. Potential buyers should be aware that a significant amount of content has been cut.
Although One Piece Unlimited Cruise 1 will be on the cartridge, the entire second “episode” will not be included.
Namco Bandai explained that the decision was related to card size issues:
“Unlimited Cruise SP is a special case a bit. In Japan the game was released with two episodes on a single cartridge with the Marine Ford mode. For the European release we had to integrate the game in 5 languages ??(English, French, German, Italian, Spanish) and this posed a problem to integrate the two sets of cartridges available on one for 3DS. We tried various approaches without success (hence the delay of the title that was out at the end of 2011) and in the end we were forced to include only the first episode. The rest is similar to the Japanese version: new characters, Japanese voice …”
The Japanese version of One Piece: Unlimited Cruise SP came on a 2GB card. In the very near future, developers will be taking advantage of 4GB cards. We’ve also been hearing that 8GB cards may be an option.
I wonder if Namco Bandai tried using a larger card size for the European release…

In addition to a local multiplayer mode, Code of Princess will allow gamers to play together online. A listing on 7net’s website says that the title will feature a four-player battle mode and co-op quests. The retailer did not provide specific details about the online modes.

Pre-order Kid Icarus: Uprising from these retailers to receive 3D Classics: Kid Icarus
Posted on 13 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 0 comments
A few days ago, Nintendo announced that consumers would receive a free download of 3D Classics: Kid Icarus by pre-ordering Kid Icarus: Uprising.
There was one catch, though. To receive the code for the classic NES title, gamers will need to pre-order Uprising “at select retailers”.
Nintendo of America didn’t say which retailers the offer would apply to, but it seems that just three stores will be involved. Amazon, Best Buy, and GameStop will all offer a download code for 3D Classics: Kid Icarus.
