This week’s Nintendo Download includes the following featured games:

Nintendo eShop and Nintendo DSiWare™
• Pro Jumper! Guilty Gear Tangent!? – Chimaki from Guilty Gear 2 stars in this quirky platformer. Make use of his run, jump and towel attacks to collect apples and successfully bypass the legions bent on his destruction. (For Nintendo 3DS™/Nintendo DSi™)

WiiWare™
• The Mystery of Whiterock Castle – Experience a thrilling search for a missing princess. Find all the hidden objects in 10 meticulously detailed settings as you get to know the various inhabitants and rooms of the castle. (For Wii™)

Generally, one wouldn’t expect a transfer tool to cost money. Nintendo is offering a free DSi transfer tool as a matter of fact. Konami, however, will be charging 200 yen to those who wish to import girlfriend data from the Love Plus titles on the DS.

What’s interesting is that this might not actually be Konami’s fault. Strangely, Nintendo hasn’t offered a solution to developers and publishers who would like to release free software on the 3DS eShop. So Konami went as low as they possibly could, which happens to be 200 yen.

Konami is hoping to sweeten the deal for players who will be downloading the transfer tool. Nothing has been announced as of yet, but expect some news in about a month.

So… it looks like someone made a boo boo. Reports earlier in the day indicated that Square Enix will be considering Dragon Quest X for Wii U. However, that information was inaccurate.

A transcript of Yoichi Wada’s original comments are now available and while it’s true that the company is looking into Nintendo’s console from a technical standpoint to prepare for possible launch titles, he did not actually say anything about Dragon Quest X. The blog that provided comments from the Square Enix CEO noted that “Wada was absolutely not saying ‘Dragon Quest X on Wii U.'”

It’s amazing what a new piece of technology can do. Epic Games co-founder Mark Rein recently said that Unreal Engine 3 is running on the Wii U and labeled the console as being “very impressive”. And today we heard about Gabe Newell showing quite a bit of interest in the system.

In response to Newell’s quote from earlier in the day, Rein posted a comment on twitter expressing excitement about the possibility of Valve supporting Nintendo’s upcoming hardware. In fact, he’d like to see full Steam support on Wii U.

Rein said on Twitter:

“Valve likes the WiiU — the idea of having full Steam support on WiiU excites me quite a bit! Valve rocks!”
