Ubisoft has been developing a Tintin game (apparently for the Wii and PlayStation 3, at the very least) for a considerable amount of time. Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn was announced almost two years ago – at Ubisoft’s E3 2009 conference to be exact. Since then, we haven’t heard much about the project.

It looks like Ubisoft will finally be sharing more at this year’s E3, if usually reliable Twitter user Supererogatory is to be believed. That’d definitely make sense, as the Tintin movie will be out in movie theaters in December.

As we’ve learned previously, the game is being led by Rayman creator Michel Ancel. Supererogatory notes that Ancel’s team was making Beyond Good & Evil 2 until development switched to the Tintin title. Once that project ships, work on Beyond Good & Evil 2 will supposedly resume.

Gamers who were able to collect 20 Gold Skulltulas in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time were rewarded with a unique item called the Stone of Agony. The tool allowed players to detect hidden areas when the N64 Rumble Pak was plugged into the controller’s memory cartridge slot. As one would expect, the controller would shake when Link came into contact with secret locations. Unfortunately, the item wasn’t very useful in the Wii’s Virtual Console release since the title was a straight port and lacked rumble support. There is good news for Ocarina of Time 3D, though, as Nintendo has made sure that things will be different in the upgraded port.

In the 3DS game, the Stone of Agony is no more. It has been discovered that the Shard of Agony has taken its place, which operates similarly, but offers audio/visual clues rather than rumble hints. As Link approaches a secret, a pinging sound will be played and an icon of the Shard flashes on the upper-left portion of the screen.

You can check out some images of the item above.

Everyone’s favorite presenter from Konami will be returning to E3 this year. Tak Fujii has confirmed that he’ll be coming to the trade show, and he’s bringing along new titles.

Fujii immediately caught the attention of gamers last year following Konami’s E3 2010 presentation. Some of his quotes such as “one million troops”, and “…if you just continue to press the same button like X X X and Y Y Y, and X X X, Y Y Y again, you will be sucked” are very well-known amongst fans.

I don’t think there’s any way that Fuji can top his performance from last year, though it’ll be great to see him again nonetheless!
