According to the latest NPD report, Switch was the best-selling console in the United States for the month of June in terms of unit sales. The same also applies for 2022 thus far as a whole.

Switch did lose out to the PlayStation 5 in both categories when it comes to dollar sales. However, one factor to keep in mind is that Sony’s console is more expensive – the cheapest version is $400 while the other model is $500. The Switch Lite costs $200 and other models are priced at $350.

This month’s NPD report also includes the latest on software sales. In June, Mario Strikers: Battle League debuted at #3 on the chart. Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes came in at #16. You can see the full results here.

Kona II: Brume

Kona II: Brume is on the way to Switch, publisher Ravenscourt and developer Parabole announced today. The game will be available in 2023.

Kona II: Brume is a first-person narrative adventure game. It’s a sequel to the 2017 original – Switch received the title one year later.

Bandai Namco has provided another look at SD Gundam Battle Alliance, and this time we have a look at the opening movie. It’s one of the first things players will see when starting up the title.

Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2

CyberConnect2 has just officially announced Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2. Specifics have not yet been provided, however.

The original Fuga: Melodies of Steel released on Switch in July 2021. The RPG has players placing children, each with their own unique characteristics and skills, at different gun turrets in a tank to fight against the enemy.

Nintendo and Monolith Soft have provided an update on the Expansion Pass for Xenoblade Chronicles 3.

As previously announced, wave 1 will include helpful items and outfit color variations. We now have a look at the different outfit looks for the main cast, posted below. As a reminder, the first part of the Expansion Pass drops at launch.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Japan Expo 2022

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 was shown off at Japan Expo 2022 earlier today with new gameplay. Nintendo had a stage show at the French event and fans were treated to over 20 minutes of footage. We now have a recording of that segment with the gameplay.

Secret Neighbor Paranormal Amusement Park update

Secret Neighbor appeared on Switch nearly a year ago, but brand new content has now arrived with the “Paranormal Amusement Park” update.

The Ghost Neighbor has been introduced, and is able to transform into a spectral ghost that can fly and phase through walls. Not to mention the ultimate ability that can temporarily disable every light within close proximity. Players can explore the Golden Apple Amusement Park as well.
