– Idea of having the chainsaw as a weapon came before the keyblade idea
– Sora’s tail was drop during the development of FFVIII, a character in FFIX had a tail and therefore Sora lost his tail
– Sora’s shoes and pants were added when Nomura was discussing the character with Disney
– Sora will be in future games
– Nomura isn’t sure what the future work will be
– Nomura believes Birth By Sleep shows that the Kingdom Hearts Osaka dev team has similar ability to create a quality KH title

This is one of the strangest rumors I’ve ever lately. NGamer has posted some messages on their Twitter account claiming Sonic will be playable in Super Mario Galaxy 2. That speculation apparently comes “from a trusted source.” NGamer also said that Sonic will have his own levels in the Green Hill Galaxy. This definitely seems fake to me, but then again, stranger things have happened.

“We’ve just had some shocking news from an inside source at Nintendo: Sonic will be a playable character in Mario Galaxy 2! Wha?…More teasing from our insider: Sonic levels will be in ‘Green Hill Galaxy’…”

The following information comes from the Q&A portion of Nintendo’s latest financial results…

“…In fact there have already been discussions for a possibility of a 3D video game for a long time. To tell you the truth, GameCube is secretly designed to load graphical circuits which display graphics for right and left eyes respectively, for a future possibility of realizing 3D gaming experience. So actually we have had interest on this technology, but I have some doubt about everyone needing glasses to play.”

This news makes you wonder if the Wii has the same functionality as the GameCube in terms of providing 3D experiences. However, as we know, Nintendo isn’t too big on 3D gaming at the moment.
