SteamWorld Build reveals Mechanized DLC

Thunderful and The Station today unveiled new Mechanized DLC for SteamWorld Build, and it should be launching soon.
The DLC lets players explore new mines, solve puzzles, construct new buildings, and encounter new enemies alongside a new companion: The Mech. By working with this companion, they’ll be able to escape from the planet, as they are tailored to solve any puzzling problem players may encounter by moving, pulling and lifting, due to their brute, raw strength.

Spirittea just issued a new “SPECQUACKULAR” update on Switch, bringing the game to version 1.6.6.
New content has been added, including ducks, a new shop vendor, and more. With all of the other changes as well, the Switch version is now in line with the PC release.

March 5: With the latest announcement from Idea Factory, we have a close release window for the Switch version of Neptunia Game Maker R:Evolution. The action RPG will be ready to go for Switch this May. An exact date wasn’t provided.
Neptunia Game Maker R:Evolution was revealed for Switch exactly one year ago. It’s been available in Japan since August.
Söldner-X Complete Collection announced for Switch

Eastasiasoft today announced Söldner-X Complete Collection, a package of two shoot ’em up titles for Switch. A release is planned for Q4 2024.
Söldner-X: Himmelsstürmer originally debuted at the end of 2007. The sequel followed in 2010.
The Wreck receiving physical release on Switch

Today, Red Art Games announced that it will produce a physical release for The Wreck on Switch.
There’ll be both a standard edition and a Deluxe Edition. With the latter, you’ll get a copy of the game, exclusive sleeve featuring alternate cover art, a keychain, and a double-sided poster.

Omega 6: The Triangle Stars release date set for July

Omega 6: The Triangle Stars, the latest game from Star Fox and F-Zero artist Takaya Imamura, now has a release date. Publisher City Connection and developer Happymeal announced today that it will be available on July 25, 2024.
Imamura originally revealed that he was working on the title, based on his new manga, towards the end of 2022. It was initially known as Omega 6: The Video Game.

Yoshi’s Island icons added to Nintendo Switch Online

Starting today, Nintendo Switch Online members can get their hands on Yoshi’s Island icons.
This is another instance of a game being tied to playing. Before gaining access to the icons, you’ll need to boot up Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island on the SNES app. Then you’ll be able to access the full set – of which there are only five. Characters are available for 10 Platinum Points each via My Nintendo.
