Nintendo Switch 2 third-parties

Nintendo Switch 2 appears to be receiving a ton of third-party support, and now a couple of developers have discussed their excitement about the console, including its technical capabilities.

Firaxais will be on board with the system at launch thanks to Civilization 7, which will feature new mouse controls. Series executive producer Dennis Shirk, in a recent interview, said the team is “extremely happy” about its horsepower. The port has been in the works since October.

Mario Kart World Rainbow Road

In what will come as a surprise to no one, Mario Kart World will indeed feature Rainbow Road.

Rainbow Road has been a staple of the series going back to its original incarnation on the SNES. However, we now appear to have our first official look for Mario Kart World, though that seemingly happened by accident.

Before it was removed, the official Nintendo Korean website included a look at Rainbow Road in map form. Here’s a look at the art that was spotted by fans as shared by EdwardSabaVO:

A new detail about Donkey Kong Bananza has been leaked by the official Nintendo Switch 2 website in Korea. We’ll be sharing this information after the break, so keep that in mind before proceeding.

Rusty Rabbit physical

As a heads up for those interested in Rusty Rabbit this month, a physical version has been confirmed. The game will be getting a boxed version in Japan that supports English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, French, German, and Spanish.

We’ll always point this out as a reminder, but Nintendo Switch is a region free console. That means despite this being a Japanese-only release, you can play through the whole thing on your system regardless of region.
