Famitsu asks gamers, store owners about the system to get this holiday

Famitsu recently held a poll asking gamers about which system they’ll be purchasing this holiday. PS Vita came out on top, followed by the 3DS second, and Wii U third.
Store owners were also asked by Famitsu about what console they believe will sell the best during the holiday period. Thanks to the likes of Pokemon X/Y and Monster Hunter 4, 3DS was the most selected choice by a wide margin. The PS Vita and PS3 came in second and third respectively.
Two Tribes wants to know if you want Toki Tori 1 on 3DS

Two Tribes is asking fans on Twitter if they’d like to see the first Toki Tori on 3DS. It’s something that the studio is currently considering, and so fan input may make the portable version happen.
Two Tribes wrote on Twitter:
On second thought… I think we may bring Toki Tori 1 to 3DS too!
That is if there are people who want that to happen? (Hint: let me know!)

Senran Kagura teaser site open, producer to discuss what’s next for the series in January

It seems like an announcement for Senran Kagura could be on the way. Marvelous AQL opened a teaser site for the franchise today, and we’re also hearing that producer Kenichiro Takaki (and others) will be appearing on a Nico Nico live stream to discuss what’s next on January 8. Perhaps a new game reveal is imminent…

Super Mario Bros. 3 Wii U/3DS VC trailer

As was announced during yesterday’s European Nintendo Direct, Super Mario Bros. 3 will be available on the Wii U and 3DS Virtual Console on December 26.

Sony Worldwide Studios president has more praise for Wii U

During an appearance on the Japanese multi-media internet talk show Kurokawa Juku, Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida shared more kind words for Wii U as well as Super Mario 3D World.
Yoshida first told the audience that he owns two Wii U consoles. He then had some kind words for Mario 3D World, stating:
“The latest Mario game is really good, too. I think the Wii U is just getting started.”
Yoshida ended with the following:
“People can get together and enjoy [the Wii U], it’s got plenty of wonderful games. Nintendo helps raise and teaches the fun of games to people just starting out. I think that’s a very important thing in this industry.”
