Astrogun becomes official Wii U developer, bringing Project CIDER to the console

Astrogun founder Xander Davis made waves when he blasted the Wii U last year. Since then, he changed his tune and has high praise for Nintendo’s indie approach.
Davis’ new interest in the Wii U has resulted in his company becoming an official developer for the system. Better yet, Project CIDER has been confirmed for the eShop.
Davis told Nintendo Life:
“The kid in me is so thrilled to be making a game for a major Nintendo console that I dug up all my Nintendo Powers from 1988 onward and have been pouring over them for inspiration. It’s a good feeling, and I think that’s already making its way into the game design. I’m fulltime developing Project CIDER now, and the next few months are especially going to be very intense with a lot of rapid development. It’s a very exciting time.”
You can find out more about Project CIDER through the official website here.

You can forget about F1 2013 coming to the Wii U.
Writing on Twitter, Codemasters creative director Steve Hood said that F1 2013 would “have to be a very different game just to run on the Wii U”. That means if you want any sort of F1 action, you’ll need to settle for F1 Race Stars Powered Up Edition.
Hood’s tweet read:
@Shaki12345 Unfortunately it'd have to be a very different game just to run on the Wii U

Aqua Moto Racing 3D patch fixes various bugs, improves stability
Posted on 11 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS eShop, News | 0 comments
Zordix AB has prepared on a patch for Aqua Moto Racing 3D in order to address a number of bugs and improve stability.
Here’s the official overview from the game’s developer:
We are releasing a patch for our newly released game Aqua Moto Racing 3d. This is a small patch which attempts to fix some smaller issues with the save system and some stability issues we have noticed after the games release.
We have also noticed that on certain memory cards the game have problems with writing Street Pass times to it after a race. This might make your game sound stutter, for some almost nothing, for others a bit more. We recommend that if you do have this problem and feel it ruins your game experience you turn Street Pass functionality off, this will correct the problem instantly. The Street Pass functionality can be turned off from within the game in the settings.
The Aqua Moto Racing 3D patch is out now.
