Wondering how the Kingdom Hearts 3D staff chose the game’s worlds? Or maybe you’ve been curious about how characters from The World Ends with You made it into the title.

Director Tai Yasue touched on these topics and more in a new interview. He also commented on a different scenario the team had in mind for Fantasia, the difficulty in making all of 3D’s AI, and how the title’s technology will be used in the future.

Head past the break for Yasue’s comments.

Since its initial announcement, we’ve known that a Wii U version of Injustice: Gods Among Us is in the works. Strangely, no one has really asked NetherRealm Studios how the game will play on the new console.

The Verge recently remedied this by asking creative director Ed Boon about the Wii U version. Unfortunately, he didn’t have much to say in terms of taking advantage of the GamePad.

Boon noted how he doesn’t want the controller to be used in a way that makes it more than a gimmick. According to Boon, “it’s certainly not something that we’ve cracked yet.”

“Right now, all the systems are in parity with the same feature sets. We’re obviously going to have some conversation about the Wii U’s unique controller and how to use it in a fighting game that’s not just a gimmick. I don’t want to just have a touch screen that shows all the secret moves and you just press them to fire them off. Thankfully the game isn’t out until next year, but it’s certainly not something that we’ve cracked yet.”
