Starr Mazer dev wants the game on 3DS, Wii U
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS eShop, News, Wii U eShop | 0 comments
Imagos Softworks recently launched a Kickstarter for “Starr Mazer”. The indie game, which features point-and-click adventure gameplay and shoot ’em up segments, will be made if funds reach $160,000. Over $60,000 has already been raised.
We’re letting you know about Starr Mazer since its developer has significant interest in bringing the game to both 3DS and Wii U. In fact, a Wii U stretch goal should be announced sometime this week.
@nvsblgamer @TronKnotts Let me clarify: we get enough funding to port it to 3DS, it's going to 3DS. We want it everywhere, especially 3DS.

Antipole DX coming to the Wii U and 3DS eShops
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS eShop, News, Wii U eShop | 2 Comments
Do you remember Antipole? It was a small – but well-received – DSiWare title from Saturnine Games. Saturnine is now bringing Antipole back, though as a Wii U and 3DS project called “Antipole DX”.
Antipole DX, according to Saturine’s Edward Di Geronimo Jr., “is a remake of Antipole featuring completely new graphics and a new soundtrack.” He told 4 color rebellion that all levels have been remade from scratch, and some stages will be new. There will also be reworked bosses, Miiverse support, and online leaderboards. At the moment, there are no plans for any Wii U or 3DS-exclusive features.
Antipole DX is targeted to launch this summer on the eShop.

Petit Computer to be removed from the European 3DS eShop on January 31
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS eShop, DSiWare, News | 1 Comment
Petit Computer will soon be removed from the 3DS eShop in Europe. According to a message posted on the store, Petit Computer won’t be available for download after January 31. However, those who purchased the app previously will be able to re-download it at any time they wish.
It’s unclear why Petit Computer is being removed from the European 3DS eShop at this time. It may have something to do with publisher Gamebridge. Or perhaps some sort of action is being taken to prepare for the proper 3DS version known as SmileBASIC.

Springloaded has several games lined up for the 3DS eShop
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS eShop, News | 0 comments
Space Lift Danger Panic! was the first game released by Springloaded Software for 3DS. The developer has since confirmed that several additional titles are coming to the eShop as well.
One of these is Heart Beaten, a game previously released on mobile. The 3DS version has been “100% rewritten from the ground up,” Springloaded’s James Barnard told us.
Heart Beaten is about dumping someone who loves you. The game features 15 challenges, from flying planes to operating deadly kitchen utensils. Given the nature of the game, Springloaded hopes to have Heart Beaten launch around Valentine’s Day in North America. It has already been submitted to Nintendo for approval.
Aside from Heart Beaten, 3DS owners can look forward to Hiragana Pixel Party and Nuclien. The former is a rhythm-action platforming chiptune adventure that can teach players Japanese. As for Nuclien, this is a puzzle/reaction-time game that has players tapping numbers on the screen before time runs out.
3DS could be receiving even more support from Springloaded in the future. According to Barnard:
We spent about 8 months builing our development pipeline, so now If Space Lift Danger Panic! and Heart Beaten do OK, we will be releasing a lot more games for 3DS this year, with each one become more ambitious than the last.
