Given how Switch is one of Nintendo’s best-selling platforms of all time, it’s been no surprise to see that many game series have taken off on the system. This has now been highlighted in an official graphic.
Nintendo has given us a look at how Pikmin, Kirby, Metroid, and Xenoblade Chronicles have performed on Switch. When put up against Wii U and 3DS, the comparison isn’t really close. It’s true that Switch hardware sold significantly more than those two older platforms (especially Wii U), but it’s noteworthy nonetheless.
Pokemon Z scrapped details leaked

Following the launch of Pokemon X and Y on 3DS, Pokemon Z is something that was largely discussed within the fan community. Many thought that Game Freak would eventually come out with the game as a follow-up to the original Gen VI titles. That didn’t happen in the end, but specific details have now surfaced from the Game Freak hack / leak.
First up, Game Freak was thinking of having Zygarde come in two Complete forms, which are Forme X and Forme Y. For Forme X, we would have gotten a large wolf that hunts Xerneas as its prey. Forme Y would feature weaponry that was like an anti-aircraft. Game Freak would later repurpose both for 10% and 100% Zygarde.

Pokemon Sun / Moon cut content found – Flying Eevee evolution, mini Pokemon, raids, more

The leaks are still going strong from the recent Game Freak hack, and fans have now found quite a bit of cut content from Pokemon Sun and Moon.
First, at one point a Flying-type evolution was being considered for Eevee. However, it seems that the design was too similar to a different fan-made design and “costs would be very high”. The note from Game Freak states: “If there is a game where Flying Eevee is the main character, or if there is high value in the game, then it is not worth the high cost.” Ultimately, it was put on hold. The leak also reveals a scrapped Fire-type regional Pikachu/Raichu evolution, but no further details are available.

Mario Kart tracks that never returned after debut
Posted on 5 months ago by Ethan in 3DS, Features, General Nintendo, Wii | 0 comments
The Mario Kart series is home to many, many different courses, and each new game in the series adds even more to that big number. A ton of old tracks were remade for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe’s Booster Course Pass, but a select few of them didn’t make the cut. Not just that, but some Mario Kart courses have never reappeared after their initial debut.
Today, we’re listing off all the Mario Kart tracks that never returned to future entries in the series. Do keep in mind that we won’t count Mario Kart Tour here – eventually, its service will end and the tracks in it will presumably become inaccessible. In case that happens, we’re sticking to courses that haven’t appeared in any main series games since their debut.

An exact end date wasn’t provided. However, that’s because it all comes down to how long spare parts are available. Once Nintendo runs out of stock, that’ll be it for repairs. Devices will no longer be accepted once those parts are used up.

Majora’s Mask is one of the more iconic elements of the Zelda series. Now as part of an interview with Gaming Boulevard, we get to hear a bit about how it was created.

According to Imamura, Majora’s Mask was about differentiating the game from Ocarina of Time, and the mask itself took some inspiration from Asian tribes.
Top 5 saddest Nintendo endings of all time

Today, we’re going over five of the saddest Nintendo endings of all time. As an important note, we’re only covering endings for games we’ve played, so if you can think of one that’s not on the list, feel free to share it with us in the comments down below.
For the most part, Nintendo is known for producing happy, feel-good games. Things like Mario and Kirby come to mind most here – just about all of their games end with a dramatic final boss fight, but a happy ending for the characters and world otherwise. That being said, some Nintendo games aren’t all kittens and rainbows at the end. Though far and few between, some of Nintendo’s sadder endings hit hard – and we’ve included five of the saddest Nintendo endings right here. Spoilers ahead!
