General Nintendo

This is another goodie that Nintendo has prepared for Zelda’s 25th anniversary. It’s short, but quite enjoyable as well!

The video goes along with the “drawing Link” tutorial and Flipnote Studio competition.

Update: Added in an English version.

Included in Nintendo’s new Zelda 25th anniversary website is a video about Flipnote Studio and a “lesson” about how to draw Link in the free DSiWare application. Actually, it shows how to draw two versions of the character – Wind Waker/Spirit Tracks Link and Adult Link from Ocarina of Time.

If you watch closely, perhaps you’ll be able to draw Link yourself! Anyone want to give it a shot on Flipnote Studio or even Game Notes on the 3DS?

The drawings themselves are fairly straightforward, though the information “points” are in Japanese. If an English version pops up, we’ll be sure to add it here.

REDMOND, Wash.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– The 25th anniversary celebration of The Legend of Zelda™ continues with the launch of a new website and a creative challenge for fans of the iconic Nintendo series. For 25 years The Legend of Zelda has chronicled the adventures of heroic Link™ and Princess Zelda™. Now fans can share their passion for the series and document its history with a new 25th anniversary website at http://www.zelda.com/25th.
