Players experiencing Dragon Quest X should be aware of one very important tidbit. Square Enix’s FAQ section for the game says that users may lose their character data if they do not log in for online play for over three months.

When you think about it, this decision does make sense. It would be a bit pointless keeping that sort of data on the servers if it isn’t being accessed. By removing the character information for active players, it may help the servers’ workload.

A new downloadable reward is available on Club Nintendo.

You can order Fluidity here. It’s available as a WiiWare download until August 19.

When the 3DS was announced, Capcom threw a ton of support Nintendo’s way. Right off the bat the company revealed Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition and Resident Evil: Revelations. And it wasn’t long before Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D was made public.

Capcom’s support for Nintendo’s latest system, the Wii U, has been much different this time around. It has yet to confirm one title for the new console.

This may be a bit concerning for some, but Capcom does few “some good stuff” in the pipeline. On the company’s official forum, Capcom’s Christian Svensson teased:

“Some good stuff is coming and I’d love to tell you more… but for now, I have to keep it a surprise. Sorry.”

News regarding downloadable content for Fire Emblem: Awakening has been quiet as late, so most had thought that Nintendo could be done with that area. But not so fast! Nintendo has announced that a second wave of DLC kicks off on August 9.

The new DLC will be released under the “Kamigunshi e no Michi” label. All content will offer maps with new characters not included in the main campaign. There will be higher difficulty maps, maps with special situations, and maps that have players saving the future from Jayryuu Gimurei.

Two maps go on sale this Thursday for 200 and 250 yen. Through September 30, Nintendo will be discounting the first map to 100 yen.
