Through the official New Super Mario Bros. U website, Nintendo has officially confirmed that the game will run in 1080p.
This is something that had been somewhat rumored previously. However, you may remember that a Nintendo representative said at E3 that New Super Mario Bros. U, along with Nintendo’s other titles, were running in 720p natively.
But again, thanks to the NSMBU website, we know that it’ll support 1080p.
The page states:
“Experience Mario like never before… in full 1080p HD, only on the Wii U console!”

Retail version of AKB48+Me will include digital copy
Posted on 12 years ago by Austin(@NE_Austin) in 3DS, News | 0 comments
Update: Or maybe not. There’s some talk that this may not be the case. We’re waiting on clarification for now…
Here’s Nintendo and Kadokawa Games, doing it right! If you buy a copy of the upcoming musical singing game “AKB48+Me” (in Japan only, so far) you get a digital copy of the game as well, so you can have all the benefits of never having to insert the cartridge coupled with an awesome packaging to take up space on your game shelf!
Fingers crossed that Nintendo starts doing this with first party releases in North America as well… and PAL regions!
