Tomorrow’s Nintendo Direct appears to be a Japanese-only affair. Nintendo of America has confirmed that it won’t be broadcasting its own pre-recorded video, and Nintendo of Europe hasn’t announced anything on its end either.

So… keep those expectations in check, folks! It will be a smaller affair compared to June’s presentation.

Tomorrow’s Nintendo Direct isn’t the only important Nintendo-happening of the week. The Big N is also planning on holding a retailer meeting sometime within the next few days.

Sinobi, the source of the news, has high hopes that there will be news on Animal Crossing: Jump Out. Nintendo will likely have a final Japanese release date for this title since it is due for release this fall. There’s a very strong chance that it will have a strong presence at the retail meeting as well as tomorrow’s Nintendo Direct.

Any future Senran Kagura game would likely come to the 3DS. Marvelous AQL producer Kenichiro Takaki, speaking with Nintendo Dream, told the magazine that he’d be interested in making Senran Kagura 2 for the handheld, assuming Burst sells well and players enjoy the experience.

If a sequel were to be made, Takaki would look to offer brand new gameplay that would provide even more stimulating hyper battle play.

Nintendo Dream reports that Burst contains a hint concerning the future of the franchise in the form of a “bonus”. We don’t know what this is yet, but we’ll likely find out once players get their hands on the title.
