EA finally confirms Need for Speed: Most Wanted for Wii U, out next year

It took EA awhile, but the company has finally confirmed that Need for Speed: Most Wanted is heading to Wii U. The game won’t be ready for some time, however: it’s expected sometime next year.
An EA representative said:
“We are very excited to deliver Need for Speed: Most Wanted on more platforms and to more gamers. Starting Oct. 30, Most Wanted will be available on X360, PS3, PS Vita, Android and iOS. Then in 2013, Nintendo fans will be able to experience what it means to be Most Wanted amongst their friends on the Wii U.”
It’s currently unclear if the Wii U version will be cross-platform compatible. So we don’t know if it will make use of the Cloudcompete feature, nor do we know if players will be able to complete against users on other platforms.

Silicon Knights’ fall from glory, Eternal Darkness 2 was in the works, less than five staffers currently employed
Posted on 12 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in GameCube, General Nintendo, News | 0 comments
A report surfaced on Kotaku today that paints a pretty bad picture of Silicon Knights, the studio behind Eternal Darkness.
One former employee told the site that the company suffered because of Denis Dyack’s authoritative control. Once ties with Nintendo were basically broken, Dyack was completely in charge of all operations and the Big N wasn’t there to provide any support.
A source said:
“This is the reason for the extremely high quality games that SK built a reputation on. Nintendo was going to put their name on the game, so it had to be ‘Nintendo quality.'”
Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward save bug corrupts data, crashes game

Quick heads up to the Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward players out there. The 3DS version contains a save bug that could crash your game. It was apparently in the Japanese version as well.
The bug may be encountered in the Pressure Exchange (PEC) puzzle room. Saving here will crash and corrupt the data on your cart. If this is something you do, you’ll have to start all over.
Keep this in mind while playing…
